From 1998 to 2003, Ms. Avellini practiced at the firm of McDermott & McGee in Millburn, New Jersey, where she handled all aspects of a large insurance defense caseload. Ms. Avellini defended clients in construction injury, construction defect and products liability cases at both the trial and appellate levels. She also handled premises liability, breach of contract, automobile accident and property damage claims. She has successfully tried cases in both state and federal court. Ms. Avellini prepared and presented a seminar entitled, “Construction Litigation in New Jersey” for firm clients. She also volunteered with the Essex County Volunteer Lawyers for Justice. In 2003, Ms. Avellini joined the San Francisco firm of Vogl & Meredith, where she defended a variety of personal injury matters venued throughout California and gained experience with asbestos litigation. She joined Jackson & Wallace LLP in 2005.
