Mr. Hepler has handled a varied caseload of insurance defense litigation, both private and in-house, throughout the course of his lengthy career. He has also tried wrongful death and toxic torts actions to successful jury verdicts. He has successfully tried in excess of 50 cases to jury and on one occasion two cases at the same time, one in Federal Court and the other in State Court each lasting in excess of one month with the respective juries returning defense verdicts for his clients on the same day. Mr. Hepler has served as Assistant Regional Counsel for the Western Region of a major corporation and was responsible for the management of its significant self insured retention, outside counsel, audit and trial of all cases in the immediate Bay Area. Mr. Hepler joined the Firm in 2006 as Senior Counsel and became a Partner in 2007.
