From 1982 to 1989, Mr. Manoli was General Counsel for the S.W. Jack Drilling Company, the largest independent driller and owner of natural gas wells east of the Mississippi river. Prior to joining Jackson & Wallace LLP, he was a partner with Burns, White & Hickton of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he was the managing partner of its San Francisco office. Burns, White & Hickton is National Counsel to one of the wire and cable defendants in the asbestos litigation and Mr. Manoli has assisted in formulating their strategy nationally. Since joining Jackson & Wallace LLP in 1999, he has managed the day-to-day activities for manufacturer defendants. He has taken hundreds of fact and expert depositions and has handled all phases of pre-trial case preparation and settlement negotiations. He became a partner in 2002.
