Mr. Murray has been defending civil cases for more than thirty years, handing a wide range of toxic tort cases, including thousands of asbestos cases, cases involving exposure to alleged "toxic mold," L-tryptophan, DBCP, dry cleaning solvents, petroleum products, methylene chloride, and even microwaves in cellular data transmission, as well as high-exposure personal injury cases, construction defect cases. He has tried over sixty cases to verdict, including eleven varied civil jury trials in a number of Northern California jurisdictions. He has managed two law offices, establishing procedures for the economical resolution of numerous toxic tort claims. He has served as an arbitrator for the San Francisco Superior Court for many years and he is on the arbitration and mediation panels in San Francisco, Alameda and San Mateo counties. He has been an elected City Councilman in Redwood City, San Mateo County, as well as a member of that city's Planning Commission. He has also been a Member of the San Mateo County Airport Land Use Commission and a delegate to the Regional Planning Committee of San Mateo County. He was the founding president of the Redwood City Art Center, president of the Redwood Shores Homeowners Association, and board member of the San Mateo County Historical Association. He joined the Firm in 2004 as Senior Counsel and became Partner in 2007.
