Mr. Renstrom began his career handling the defense of contractors in construction litigation. He joined the Firm in 1992, became Senior Counsel in 1999 and partner in 2001. Mr. Renstrom specializes in handling premises liability cases for property owner and contractor clients newly served in the asbestos litigation. Mr. Renstrom has taken numerous plaintiffs' depositions, as well as expert witness and factual witness depositions. He has had two trials, his first a court trial and his second a jury trial which settled the day before the jury was to receive the case. Recently, Mr. Renstrom has won an arbitration in a shooting case. He has also briefed, argued and won an appellate matter on behalf of one of the Firm's distributor defendants, Barr v. ACandS (1997) 57 Cal. App.4th 1038 (including Wills v. Alta Building Material).
