Prior work history: For the first half of his over thirty year career as a member of a small firm and as a sole practitioner, Mr. Ricks represented both plaintiffs and defendants, litigating in the areas of construction and manufacturer’s performance, contract, personal injury, family, fraud, business, will contest, guardianship dispute, collection, property line dispute, and land use issues in binding arbitration, court and jury trial forums.

More recently, as Supervising Attorney of Tucker and Ricks, the Inland Empire staff counsel office for Farmers Insurance, and while maintaining file handling responsibilities, he was instrumental in the development of quality control standards and review, the development of systems and protocols for professional and support staff and the training and mentoring of young trial attorneys. As a trial attorney, he tried personal injury lawsuits arising from premises liability and motor vehicle negligence with injuries including exaggerated soft tissue symptoms, hip prosthesis failure, scarring and disfigurement, bone fractures, and Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome. Mr. Ricks joined Jackson & Wallace in 2006 as Senior Counsel where his practice includes, products liability and personal injury arising from motor vehicle and premises liability. He has completed twelve jury trials.
